A reminder...we can make a difference in the life of others.

We sat under the preaching/teaching last Wednesday night of one of God's servants.  He spoke about handling problems...biblical leadership.  "God's Word is practical!  It can help us!  I John 5:2,3 "...and His commandments are not grievous."
So why do we bristle when someone confronts our thinking, words, or actions with Bible truth?  I have watched Christians lay down and let Satan trample down God's work all in the name of not offending some person, policy, or practice...the whole time offending the truth of God's Word and hurting countless people.  Do we forget that we will be held accountable for the things that we do? or do not do? say? or do not say?  How often do we choose to please people over God?
Galatians 1:10
Philippians 1:10-11
"You are either for something or against something.  You cannot remain neutral or silent!  We have a responsibility to praise good or confront evil.  You must contend!"
Proverbs 28:4 They that forsake the law praise the wicked;  but such as keep the law contend with them.
Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper;  but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
Acts 24:16 And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offense toward God and toward men.
Proverbs 17:15 He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are an abomination to the Lord.
"We must speak up for right!"
Hmmm...I wonder...if we truly believed that God's plans and ways are best...more people would be encouraged in their daily walk!
