Just for Moms,
Counting down the days is natural...especially when we are looking forward to a special event that marks the achievement of a goal! Sometimes it is just the completion of a task for a normal day. Like the laundry washed, dried, folded, and put away on the same day! Sometimes it is finally seeing training completed. Like potty training or riding a bike without training wheels! Sometimes it is the end of a month or a season. We look forward to the new calendar or time of year and all that it brings!
As we count forward in anticipation for all that God will bring in the coming days, weeks, months, and years, I want to remember to look back with thankfulness and joy for what we just lived! Go back and read through your journal, look at pictures, and talk of all that God has done in those every day routine times of life.
Proverbs 8:1-6 Wisdom cries out and understanding puts forth her voice...they speak of excellent things and right things! In order for our children to continue in the things that we are teaching them, they need to hear from our mouth (lips) the same words!
Proverbs 8:32-36 Our children cannot hear and be wise or choose wisely if we are not daily speaking truth as we stand watching daily at our gates and door.
