Psalm 77:6 is very real to me

When my spirit is troubled, I often find out to what extent in the middle of the night...when I wake up...and I have Scripture passages or songs scrolling through my head.
Last night, I woke up several times...
...singing...

What About His Grace?

O Love That Will Not Let Me Go...I rest...my weary soul in Thee...

...quoting...

Isaiah 40:31  "...they shall run, and not be weary, they shall walk, and not faint..."
Hebrews 12:15  "Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled."
Ephesians 6:10-  "...and having done all to stand..."

Now that I am awake and functioning in my daily responsibilities, my focus has jumped down a few verses.
Psalm 77:11-15  "I will remember the works of the LORD:  surely I will remember thy wonders of old.
I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.  Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary:  who is so great a God as our God?  Thou are the God that doest wonders:  thou hast declared thy strength among the people.  Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph.  Selah."
Psalm 78 continues to recount what happened to the children of Israel as they grumbled against God's laws and against Moses.  They quickly forgot all that God had done for them and "sinned yet the more against him..."
We have God's Word...His truth that points out our wrong thinking and wrong actions.  We have the example of the Israelites to learn from...recorded by God for a purpose!
Yet...like the children of Israel...we refuse to follow and obey God's Words.  We have become another "...generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God."  And God "...being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, and destroyed them not:...For he remembered that they were but flesh..."  Our choices to hold on to our sinful ways...have consequences that hinder God's working and His blessing. We struggle year after year living the same life, doing the same things, without the power of God that comes when we live in obedience to our Heavenly Father.  Our sinful choices drag down other Christians and hurt the testimony of Christ.
In Psalm 79:4, "We are become a reproach to our neighbors, a scorn and derision to them that are round about us."  and in verse 9-10 "Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name:  and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake.  Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is their God?"
We wonder why we have no unity...no blessing...no kindness...no understanding...
we are a people who are holding on to wrong, unbiblical thinking which brings wrong actions where satan can then attack.  We stand there scratching our heads wondering what has happened...forgetting "what manner of man..."  James 1:22-27
We bring reproach to the Lord... not glory!
My heart is troubled...and I think again...
"What About His Grace?"
When I think of where I've been, and where He brought me from, and  how I found Him giving the strength  to overcome. I wouldn't want to live a single minute without Jesus in it. 'Cause when I look around I have no place to run.

What about His grace?

What about how He came?
What about the blood He shed on Calvary that washes sin away?
Think of all He's done and how He helps us overcome.
How could we ever run away?
What about his grace?

If you've been in His presence and you felt His mercy flow. Strength from His throne in glory to your wounded soul.  How could you ever turn your back on Jesus?  When He died to free us.  Ask yourself this simple thing before you go.
