Do you ever get a thought in your head and it won't go away?

Our pastor was preaching...I can't even remember how long ago now...and he talked about being selfish or selfless.  Being the teacher that I am...I got stuck on the suffixes (even though we don't talk about those much in K5!)
-ISH
-LESS

For days...I keep thinking of words that go with this idea.  What do I want to be like as God's child?  I say I belong to Him, but how do I act and react every day?

-ISH  "Used to make the reference sound vague or approximate."  I remember when our children were small and we used "ish" in a negative context!
-LESS  Means "without"
-FUL  Means "full of" or "characterized by"

So I am looking for words that God uses in His Word to describe His children...and I started mentally compiling a list...only I don't do so well remembering now!  It is time to write it down!

joyful          Example: different from "joy-ish"
(I know it is not a word..but is your joy vague to you, to others, to God?)  and "joy-less"
peaceful
good
faithful
gentle
meek
temperate
kind
patient
settled
stable
quiet
contrite
pure
submissive
sober
giving
gracious
trusting
strong
maturing/growing
merciful
not self focused (JOY)
loving

Add one of these suffixes to any word listed above and see the change in the meaning!  Obviously, the actual use of -less or -ish are not the correct grammatical use...but you get the idea of what I am trying to say.
What suffix is used to describe your character?
-ISH?
-LESS?
-FUL?
It is something to think about...and not on a high academic plain.
Keep it simple...you'll get the idea.
