Just for Moms,
Happy Monday! It is our 9th week of distance learning and our last week Kindergarten! I can hardly believe it! It will all seem very final on Thursday as we meet to get pictures of the Kinder in their caps and gowns!!! It still seems like a bad dream that we will wake up from...
But our God has met our every need! I feel victorious in that thought this morning! Satan has tried to take us down into darkness and frustration...but he has not won in our home...we have fought against those powers of darkness with truth and light from God's Word! I did not say it has been easy...and we are still in the fight. As I read Proverbs 11 today, I am reminded that "a false balance is abomination to the LORD...the integrity of the upright shall guide them...a gracious woman retaineth honor: the wicked worketh a deceitful work..."
God is still at work...in our homes and out in cities. There have been good people standing up and speaking truth and God is using their words in His way and in His time. I am so thankful that even in my weak moments...(because truth be told...I am so done with this whole pandemic craze...just done...) God is still in control. I want to follow God's way...because I do not want to trouble our own house and inherit the wind! (verse 29) I will trust God to care for every need that we have as a family, city, state, and country. Why? Because He has specifically cared for every need we have had these last eight weeks!
