Just for Moms...A little humor for today...
Is there a vitamin that we can take that will dissipate the feelings of annoyance that we are possibly...ok, probably...um, most likely...not gonna lie...so totally struggling with right now?
24/7...no breaks...continuous togetherness...brings out the best in us as well as bringing out the worst. Breathing in my space. Walking by me. Looking at my stuff. Touching me. Coughing, Sneezing, blowing nose, clipping fingernails. Whining. Chewing.
And those are just the feelings that the adults are having!
Take a deep breath!
Laugh!
Speak gracious words!
Love!
We all said, "I don't have time. I wish I had more time. Some time we will..." We wanted the time. Now we have it.
Be thankful for the time! Put aside your expectations of what this time should look like. Put aside your desire for something else.
In Ecclesiastes 3, Solomon wrote about the importance of time for the passages of our life. And then in verse 11, "He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end."
There will come a time when the annoyances of others will not be there...and we will miss the annoyances terribly...then they will be beautiful...and it will be too late.
With love,
Kari...just realizing again at the start of week 5 that I still struggle to keep perspective each day
